Passenger side trunk compartment?

I am still learning new stuff about our 2024 MSP. Does anyone know what now lives in the small compartment at the bottom of the passenger side of the trunk? It was wide open on our 2015 MS and I used it to stash all kinds of things. It is now covered with a panel that has a very small shelf with an elastic band on the top. The drivers side compartment has a cover but is otherwise the same as the older ones.

It is the subwoofer. I suspect your 2015 didn't have the premium audio package that included a subwoofer. The Subwoofer is now standard.

You are right - my 2015 P90D did not have the optional stereo.
