Yay I can actually be there! I have a flight from Reno to San Fran to cancel...
I'm in!
I will be there! Hoping to meet a lot of y'all. Now I just need some guidance to make my RSVP and pony up my cash.
As most of us know, what makes this forum great is the people. With that in mind, I've decided to be the point person to organize more "TMC"
1) Organized caravan between Connect at Reno, and Bonnie's party (actually Brianman will do most of this organizing, since he will drive)
2) potential booking of block of rooms at Larkspur Landing Hotel Sunday July 31st after Bonnie's party
I've called Larkspur Landing in Roseville. No charging at the hotel, but lots of options nearby.
Manager of hotel said they can save us a block of 10-15 rooms Sunday night for their Studio Suites (queen bed, full kitchen, bath, etc). Normal price is $139/night, but if we book together we can have get the discount rate of $99.
Here's hotel link:

Please let me know if you are interested. We can start the discussion here. If it gets out of hand and hijack's Bonnie's thread, I'll ask Admin to move to separate discussion.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
That would be fantastic, thank you!Bonnie, since I live nearby, in Lincoln, I can bring some extra chairs if needed.
Probably best to bring your own. And wow! Can't wait to taste it!Bonnie, I am thinking of bringing some of my amazing homemade root beer instead of crawfish traps, do you have a 1.5 gallon or bigger beverage dispenser (preferably glass) or should I bring my own?
Any Ginger Beer recipes?Okay, I'll bring my own dispenser and enough ingredients for about 5 gallons of brew.
I am The Root Beer Gourmet, I don't know much about ginger beer.Any Ginger Beer recipes?
I'm thinking Moscow Mules would be a fine hot summer day drink.

Do you need us to bring our own folding chairs? That would be fantastic, thank you!
Actually, interestingly, I'm going to stop by at Portland Soda Works on the way down to review their root beer, and the owner said he'd send me down with some additional flavor syrups for my trip, one of which seems to be ginger. So Ginger Beer maybe as well. I'll bring two dispensers, one for my brew and one for the Portland Soda Works stuff.Any Ginger Beer recipes?

Alright! Good ginger beer is hard to find, sometimes Trader Joes has it.Actually, interestingly, I'm going to stop by at Portland Soda Works on the way down to review their root beer, and the owner said he'd send me down with some additional flavor syrups for my trip, one of which seems to be ginger. It's root beer, which is by definition non-alcoholic, hard root beer is an abomination if you ask me... But you can mix whatever you want with the sodas.Sounds great ... is this soft or hard beer?
