Parking at Ft Lauderdale Cruise Port

Going on an 8 day cruise in mid August and am concerned about heat inside Tesla Model 3. Any suggestions since it seems no parking lots are covered to protect from hot sun.

Get sun shades for the ceiling. It will help keep the heat down. I just got the Tesla ones (not cheap), but they really seem to help. Lots of Youtube vids about that. The Tesla ones cover the entire back window. Also get a front windshield screen. Those are the silvery-bubbled ones. They do an amazing job at reflecting heat.

If your windows are tinted with UV tint, that will also help. Happy sailing.

Why? (are you concerned about heat inside the tesla model 3)?

Whatever car you had before this, were you concerned about heat when parking for extended periods of time outside?

My suggestion is, "dont be concerned about heat any more or less than you would have been about any other car you have had in a similar circumstance". Its going to get hot, cars get hot when they are parked, the car wont melt or behave any different than any other car parked in the sun.

If you are worried about the tablet / screen, use a windshield screen or get one if you dont have it, otherwise, do the exact same thing you did for any other car you have had.
