Q3 ends in Sept. Oct deliveries will be in Tesla's Q4. I don't interpret "by October" to mean "before October". I think "by October" means "before November"

Ok, let’s be reasonable here - this is Tesla time we’re talking about. “By October” could easily mean any nearby month that ends in “-ber”.

Mine also changed to October last night, not long after my IDA contacted me to set up delivery (now scheduled for Monday, 9/27). So, take the estimate at face value.

Just cancelled, after almost $400K spent with this company in under two year(2 P100Ds and 1 Model 3 LR) and 7 referrals... the absolute $hit customer service I've experienced on this order has led me to say no thank you and I'm out! I'll Give my hard earned money to another company who deserves it.

No showrooms or service centers in Iowa so I have to quickly pick an out of state city or home delivery.

Finally got an update...3/31/16 line waiter, current owner, ordered P3+ red/black on 5/20, added FSD on 6/26. Email and phone call came today. Vin 106k. I think that's the highest vin I've seen.

Delivery initially scheduled for 9/17 then while we were on the phone he said it was changed to 9/18. He also said it was arriving that day. I'm not sure how they can prepare/detail it that quickly.

Just this evening my edit link finally went away. I was able to hit a button that sent me a text allowing me to fill out a trade-in self evaluation online. No VIN listed yet but at least I have something to do this weekend to make progress toward a Model 3 in the driveway. Hopefully delivery is around the corner!

It sounds like its common for the edit button to go away when you are selecting to pay cash vs trading in, since I haven't seen an edit button since I provided my info, but also don't see anyway to change the payment method or what not... *shrug*

Looking at lairdb's "Performance VIN assignment by date" chart, looks like a whole lot of MCR P3Ds got added this week. Don't think I'll make it in the same batch of Red's, but the progress is still nice to see. Also, I think there's a few missing updates in the spreadsheet in the last 12 hours!

This has been said in this thread before, but perhaps bears repeating. If you chose all cash and no trade-in, yes the link automatically goes way. You can still attempt to go to it by direct URL. When that link no longer works, it's usually a reliable indication that your car is close to being ready. Link is in this format:
