The target keeps moving. I emailed DS 2 days ago
MyTesla was showing December - early January when I sent the email
DS said he would be shocked if car wasn't here before the end of year
I checked MyTesla today and now seeing late November - December again
That's interesting. My delivery estimate hasn't moved once. It's been december-early January since confirmation.

When I first ordered it said December but once order confirmed it said December-Early January. No movement at all and DS has no updates for me yet.

Tax credit is the same difference to me either year-chose to get 2017 model year if possible (even though I know it's exactly the same car). More time for you guys to get yours!

Put my order on October 19, on My Tesla website it showed December - Early January, 2017, then it changed to Late November - December and now it is back at December - Early January, 2017. I emailed my DS and she said it should be delivered by Mid December.

My DS gave me an on or about 12/26 delivery date in NY.Mine is just one day earlier than yours. Hopefully both of ours will be on the same truck and get delivered before the end of the year. Fingers crossed.

I wonder if this all comes down to where we live. New York and Virginia taking longer and tougher to specify than a California delivery. I'm in Virginia and it's always said "December-Early January" on MyTesla. Pro-Forma says "Dec. 26th" and D.S. says tough to say til production starts, but December seems reasonable.

My delivery specialist said it definitely depends on location. They estimate it can take up to a few weeks for transport to the east coast. And inclement weather can delay the delivery.

My DS said the same thing, last week of November and still can't give me an estimated delivery date until it enters production.

I jumped the line. Saw some inventory cars in Tesla website, and I called my DS and got my order switched to one of them. Of course, the DS were slow to response. I had to email 3 people, called and left 2 messages, and finally got a call back. The car is already on a truck coming to NYC. Getting delivery on 11/28.

LOL. I know. I just couldn't stand the wait! I kept checking on the suggested cars from Tesla's Design Studio and finally found bunch of them with AP2 showed up in the last few days. Look like they come in batches. One day, there was nothing. The next day, there were like 10 matching cars.
I checked for you as well, but there were no 60D inventory car with AP2.

It only takes a few days from production start to end. You are lucky to be in CA. It takes just a week to ship to wherever you are, according to the Delivery Google Doc: Model S Order & Delivery 2016

My DS emailed me last night stating that the car should arrive on 12/7 and be ready for delivery on 12/29 or 12/30. The countdown has begun!!!
