Noise from AC/heat pump?

Hi folks,

For the past few days, I noticed some noise coming from the frunk of my 2020 Model Y LR. I put a service appointment and it's scheduled in 3 weeks.

Any idea of where this could be coming from?

hmm not gonna lie i think it may be normal? so many weird noises happen up front

Sounds like a normal heat pump/AC compressor to me. I wouldn't waste your time with a service appt. Every EV I've had sounds like this with the A/C on.

This is the first you've noticed sound coming from the front in nearly 2 years of ownership?

That is normal, but there is a TSB to address the noise.

Indeed. This is the first time I notice that sound! I have to say that I just drive the car, and maintain it (change filters, do tire rotation, etc.) but rarely check anything else.
