Dude you want this but you don't want it on your car. They should come out with a magnetic sticker.
I don't want to put up my front plate.
Magnetic sticker so it can be stolen easier ?

I would like magnetic sticker so I can take them off when I'm not using the HOV lanes. Which is most of the time.Magnetic sticker so it can be stolen easier ?
soThe Fastpasses basically turn the carpool lane into a toll road. I think they are photo enforced. They'll probably get rid of them soon and go to pure photo billing like they have on the toll road in Orange County (they just bill by license plate number).
is the front and rear bumper and rear quarter panels all steel?I would like magnetic sticker so I can take them off when I'm not using the HOV lanes. Which is most of the time.
Buy some magnetic vinyl and stick the stickers on that.I would like magnetic sticker so I can take them off when I'm not using the HOV lanes. Which is most of the time.
Did you get a ticket or just a warning?
Is it possible to reapply the XPEL tape if you take it off and want to put it back on?
Well, I had to put the sticker on and got a warning.
Written warning. You had to put them on right there on the roadside while the patrolman watched? Written warning, verbal warning, or fix-it ticket?
Usually a fix-it ticket you have to get it signed off by any officer showing that you did it and mail in the fee. They won't make you put it on right there (in my experience). You had to put them on right there on the roadside while the patrolman watched? Written warning, verbal warning, or fix-it ticket?

I don't understand having to put on all four...it's super ugly. They're only needed on right front and on right rear corners.
I had to apply for new ones recently as my bumper was damaged and is getting replaced. I originally had the white stickers. I got my red stickers about a week ago and the expiration date is 1/1/22.
he wanted to see the third missing decal and ask me to install it since it's was next to a tall on the bay bridge, He stopped me because " You were driving alone in HOV lane without properly installed identification marks that allow you to do so"
Because not all Teslas can use the HOV lane. Only the ones who have applied for the CAV decals and paid the fee. That's weird ... doesn't he know Teslas can use HOV lane (why the insistence on stickers???)
DMV said:For a vehicle purchased on or after January 1, 2018, the DMV cannot issue a CAV decal to an applicant who has received a consumer rebate through the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP). An applicant whose gross annual income is above specified thresholds must choose between a CAV decal or a CVRP rebate.

And no, not every Tesla may qualify based on the following:
Although the FAQ says battery vehicle and over income limit says CAV only and no rebate. Shrug.
Not correct. Everybody with a Tesla will get the HOV sticker, they may not always get the $2500 rebate.
