If the spoiler and other accents have the usual carbon fiber color/pattern, one might want to consider that in choosing the body color.
Actually I plan to put the Audi logo on my nose cone. Model S will perfectly disguise as an Audi A5/A7 hatchback. Then, at the stop lights...
...unless of course Tesla adds the pedestrian warning sound.
Heard where? First I've heard of it and it's the kind of thing I think would have been leaked and spread pretty quickly. Plus, I'd think Tesla would have touted it themselves. I suppose it's also possible the Beta's aren't power draw limited and are draining battery life shortening levels of power.Another interesting thing I heard (and I am wondering if anyone else heard this) is that the Betas consistently do 5.1.
They don't have to be street legal, pass safety inspections, etc.Again though, they're betas

No. EPA (or some other agency) has been asked to study and suggest the tones that should be used etc.Has anyone confirmed if the Model S will have the noise generator? I thought all EVs and hybrids that came out this year had to have it.
Awesome! That's great news. They shouldn't have them to begin with and if they should, it should apply to all cars, not just EVs anyway.No. EPA (or some other agency) has been asked to study and suggest the tones that should be used etc.
