Nav on iOS to Car? How?

Just upgraded to V9 on my 2015 P85 (without AP). I've been trying to figure out how to get a route programmed on Waze on my iphone to share with the car. Does that feature work with Waze. I've also tried it with Google Maps and when I hit the share button, the car reports no route found. Help.

"You can now start navigation in your car by using the share button in your favorite phone apps. iOS users will need to enable sharing to your car: Open the app you want to share from, open the share feature, scroll to the right, tap the More button, then enable Tesla for sharing."

@Three60guy Can you please link where you got that quote? I'm trying to relay that info to others and they are doubting my sources and frankly I don't remember where I first heard that.

Remember, this is copying the destination, not the route. And this is much easier on iOS 13.

Alas, NEVER MIND... found it after I realized (thanx @GaryREM for reminding me to post an update) that this is copying a destination and not a route! Ugh!
