wipers going off when tesla encounters glare from sun. only way to stop the wipers is to switch them off. this is being real pain especially when its sunny.

That's not new, the auto wipers have been weird for years. They work fine for a long while and out of the blue they wipe for no reason, or don't wipe when you need them.
You can help by making sure all cameras are super clean. Sometimes a bug squashed in front will screw things up.

Just downloaded 2023.26.9 then I got hit with my first auto wiper disaster Friday. I was on AP, needed wipers, and now the wipers are stuck on every time I engage AP.

Many owners have been living with this since we got our Teslas.
The only surefire way of avoiding the auto wiper issue is to make sure your windshield is clean af.
I've recently completed a short 800 km road trip and not once the auto-wipers activated - and I did AP 90% of the time.
For us with early 2021 Model Y's (w/ radar) this wasn't a problem for the first 2 years. Only when they switched to vision only did this odd random wiper turn-on when on AP start happening
