So yea, this happened today when I got in the car. Weirdest thing ever...looks like the car came alive and was trying to navigate itself away lol. I got out to try and make it stop but it started rebooting itself (tesla logo came on). Haven't seen it do it since then.

 
Looks like the capacitive layer is registering false touches. It's a rare issue that has crept up on Model 3 screens a few times in the past: Phantom touch on the Model 3

If the screen was dry and clean and you don't have a screen protector applied, I'd show this video to a service center.

Edit: it looks like you still have the factory protective film on. That's your main suspect.
