Why does the spreadsheet show 19% deferral rate, when we know/suspect it’s much higher than that? Because this value is kind of meaningless on the spreadsheet. Many people only add their entry after receiving an invite and submitting their order.
I would suspect the reasons for deferring are pretty accurate on the views of the population as a whole, but the actual ratio of people that are ordering/deferring is way off of reality. That’s the nature of people self-selecting when to take a survey - the results may not directly reflect reality.
