Looks like Tesla loaned them a car for that. It wasn't her Model S she was driving there.

TEG, yes Tesla loaned her a car for the day. The day they did the filming, Tesla was having a Test Drive Event elsewhere in the state, so no P85D's were available, but she was able to get a P85. Through the NJEAA, a local owner was contacted to bring a P85D, and allow Leilani to show (test ride) Maxwell in his car.
