Is Your MCU1 Model X Still on 2019.40.2.1?

Feature-wise? Some voice control improvements, and supposedly stop sign detection (with AP2.5, anyway). Also, it actually showed the release notes immediately (no multi-minute wait) for the first time since late 2018. Whether that improvement is reproducible or not, I couldn't say. :)

Complete list for MCU1/AP2.5:

  • Additional Vehicle Information
  • Voice Commands
  • Phone improvements (text messages)
  • Camp Mode
  • Backgammon
  • Voice Keyboard
  • Save Dashcam Clips on Honk
  • Driver Profiles
  • New Language Support
Also picked up some 2019.40.x features:
  • Adjacent Lane Speeds
  • Automatic Wiper Improvements
  • Automatic Lane Change Improvements
  • Autosteer Stop Sign Warning
  • High Voltage Battery Diagnostic Improvements

My Dec 2017 MX 75D with EA & FSD, still on 2019.40.1.1.
I've done the Hard Resets and made sure wifi connection is strong, but to no avail.

Very disappointing. Others who were in the same situation reported in this forum that they jumped to 2020.4 as of a few days ago.

I'm hopeful that I'll also jump to latest update shortly.

I just updated my MCU1/AP1 X last night. Voice recognition isn’t usable. Backgammon is about the only new that functions!
Voice of text messages both ways worked for me as well as lots of voice commands.

One thing that I cannot seem to adjust is the volume of the text to speech. It is super load and the left scroll wheel has no effect on this. Where do you adjust the volume?
