It's an ok deal, If you like the Plaid version, go for it. If I was you, I'll take a brand new LR tax rebate version for about the same price plus you can get $7500 back if you are qualified.

Same. I would just buy a new LR tax edition and get it closer to 71k and be comfortable knowing nothing weird has happened to the car yet.

Thanks for the feedback. I need 6 seats for my family and we don't qualify for the tax credit. Adding 6 seats to the base LR, brings it to 86500 and a Plaid is 94500 so decided to go with the Plaid instead

I ordered this car, but ultimately rejected delivery. There were just a ton of cosmetic issues, rock chips, panel gaps, corrosion on falcon doors and scratches all over.

Hanging in there if you don't need a car right away. Tesla just reported a significant delivery miss for the first quarter, we may see some price cuts in the near future.

Ultimately, this mattered. It was a car from upstate NY with a ton of salt damage and paint chipping. Also being an early VIN, panel gaps were large.

However, I found another one from WA state.

70k for a LR is just too close to plaid pricing man I think you can do better if you broaden your search

Sorry about the delivery. What happens when you reject delivery? Do you foot the bill for transport, at least?

New with those same specs is coming at 95,490, so thought it was a good deal considering the fact that I wanted all those options anyway

Typically they don't refund the $500 deposit and any transportation fees, but in this case Tesla made a rare exception given the condition of the vehicle and I got the full amount back

Enjoy it bud! Tesla is an amazing company, but being an owner and an observer, "exceptions" and "reasonable" are rare descriptives for Tesla haha!

After having a couple of bad used cars, I lost trust as you really aren't sure how well it's been kept.

Thanks, I love driving my Teslas and have a ton of appreciation for the company! I also own a Lucid Air but its extremely buggy, so it will be going away. For me, its like using an iPhone for several years and you try to use an Android for a bit.
