Is it certain SR will be in 2019?

I think there’s some confusion with SR and Base Model. Does anyone know for certain that a SR AWD with premium upgrades won’t be available before 2019? It’s hardly the base model. My understanding was that only the stripped down cheapest version would be in 2019.

The certainty is that Tesla will try to do whatever makes them the most money.

For the USA Tesla might want to deliver some SRs in late 2018 to get sales that could be lost when the tax credit is reduced, but only if they gain more from that than they lose from lost up-selling to LR.
For Canada, I think it's less likely that 2018 or 2019 will matter.

In the estimator, it's the base stripped 45600 CAD car that is 2019.

But when they plan to produce the SR battery...nobody knows. They keep us in the fog.
Hoping we know soon, because it's quite an expense to planify in the budget.
