Inventory car mistake in my favor?!?!?!

First time post but I wanted to see if this happened to anyone else. I was tracking a car online for awhile out of my state. P100D non ludicrous autopilot no FSD. Patiently waited for the price to drop. Finally pulled the trigger at 87K. Which is a pretty good price.

Went to pick up the car. Everything was going perfect. The Tesla guy went inside to finish some paperwork and said I could sit in the car. I start messing around and notice it has Ludicrious Mode still enabled and Enhanced Autopilot vs newer autopilot. I look in the glove box and sure enough it’s a fully loaded 2018 P100D.

Has this happened to anyone else? I feel like I got extremely lucky. Will this go away with like a later update? Can they notice this mistake and remove this now? I thought about selling it for more but then realized I was gonna upgrade all these things anyway.

First rule of mistakes in your favor is to not talk about them. L and EAP are literally just a few clicks in the configuration and they can easily take them away remotely.

in that case I have been trying to delete the post but can’t figure it out. Newbie. I will still report back in a few months but just non specific. Where is the delete option ?!?!

I already flagged and requested to have this removed in fear of getting the car taken back .

They're not going to take the car back, they'll just disable the option if they want to. There's no way it's legal for them to take the car back, but the legality of just disabling Ludicrous mode is probably gray.

Other inventory car owners have posted about this and Tesla says the Ludicrous option will be removed in a future update. Enjoy it while it lasts...

Exactly. And it would be wise for everyone to never mention this, or any other freebie you got online.

for those interested, here is what it says in my contract

"The Vehicle Configuration describes the vehicle that you configured and ordered, including pricing (excluding taxes and
official or government fees). If you are purchasing a vehicle from our inventory, the Vehicle Configuration may be in the form of a Monroney
window sticker"

Window sticker FTW!!

I doubt they would remove it as all it would do is upset a new customer. It is no skin off their backs to "flip the switch". From the looks of it, they seem to activate the convenience autopilot features on all AP1 used cars they sell as well. Appears that every one has it. Enhances the price and value with no cost to them. If they wnat to remove it, I don't see why they could not as it was not part of your purchase. However, I cannot see why they would do so. also, no VIN in the post, so they would have to make some assumptions to track you down anyway and potentially really upset someone who actually purchased the feature.

purposefully did not include VIN for obvious reasons.
