Interior Ambient Lighting by Hansshow

Really love my new interior ambient lighting kit from Hansshow! I will say it's a bear to install to say the least! My car has 200 miles on it and taking it all apart to install it wasn't easy. The removal of the trim, which requires breaking off the metal parts was hard to do on a new car and I really thought I was going to mess something up. Using the JB weld plastic bonder to attach the light strips was pretty easy and worked perfectly as I saw on a YouTube video online before I began this install. You do not need to cut any harnesses as it gets power from the cigarette lighter wiring in the console . Looks and feels OEM, no wires sticking out and the LCD screen to change the colors is awesome! My wife just got a new BMW X3 and it had this from the factory, figured I would try this and I was not let down. I like it just as much as the BMW ambient lighting and there are actually more color options!

Nice work. Can you take some more close-up pictures with the lights off, so we can see the quality of the integration of the lights into the trim pieces?

I recently picked up 2023 version of model Y.
Did you also install on 2023 MY?

Also any tips on installing the kit?
