Heater gone :(

Hi all my heater went in my 2017 75D last winter (with a bang so I guess the fuse too).

I see there’s plenty of parts on eBay for around £150. But are they all the same parts? Do model 3 fit the model s? Are the gen 1,2,3 versions all compatible with the same car?

Had a quote for over £1500 from the dealer and I can’t afford that so I either live with it or DIY. However now I can’t get software updates as the alerts won’t go away.

Thanks all for any help.

It’s worth to search here as there have been several posts about the change and part used with a different prices. And as asked, what are the part’s that they intend to change? I had to change battery heater this winter, initially suspected cabin heater…

Sorry I missed these replies!
