Then they'd have to sue the millions of older vehicles that don't have a PWS, and then they might as well include bicycles too. The fact is the PWS really wasn't needed because EV's are no quieter than most new ICE vehicles at low speeds and they are required to have a PWS.Whats the benefit of covering this speaker.
Other than a possible lawsuit if you run someone over and they sue because you disabled the sound that would alert them to your presence
