It would bother me if a particular insurance company didn't know what Tesla GPS logging can do, and whether it is acceptable to them ... or not.

If they do know, and say that want an additional tracker fitted that's one thing ... but their system not knowing and asking you to specify it? That would suggest to me that their fine print for wriggling out of claims is more important to them than offering a decent service

Short answer, it does not have a Tracker in the traditional sense and Tesla have stated that Tesla's do not have a tracker. Traditional trackers do not use GPS or mobile data technology so are more robust than that fitted as standard to a Tesla. But if for insurance, check with them.
