Incidentally, I got my official Tesla front bracket installed on my 2.5 at the service center last week. It seems well-designed, as it tilts the plate away from the grille and leaves a lot of space behind for air to flow around it. The service center also put on a hideous chrome-plated TESLA plate frame, which made my car look like it had huge buck teeth with braces.
This week I replaced that with a generic, powder-coated, black frame which. . . is not exactly a thing of beauty, but at least it looks like it has somewhat smaller buck teeth without braces now.
