Fixing minor scratches

We discovered som scratches on the front bumper of our red M3. We get a quote for repairs from one Tesla approved shop in Kawagoe for 350,000 JPY. Given the scratches are relatively minor I was surprised it's that much. Does anyone have experience getting things like this fixed and any recommendations or advice?

Hi, @Qythyx,
It sounds like they plan to repaint! If they are minor scratches, you don't have to rely on Tesla-authorized body shops - they are for body "panel" repairs. Many typical automotive paint shops can do. Bring it to a Toyota dealer, for example.

Try Gasoline stations.
I went to Eneos, asked for "Bankin" 板金. They fixed my scratch for 80,000y instead of 500,000y at the Tesla recommended shop.

What about stone chip repairs? I got one right in the middle of my bonnet
