- Name one other EV SUV under $100k that has a range of over 250 miles...waiting...
250 just isn't fair. Without going over $100k, you're looking at a 75D which only gets 237 but fully loaded it's over $100k so let's stick with the [no-longer for sale] 60D which only gets 200 miles of range.
Now that I've made it convenient for me...
NIO launches its ES8 all-electric SUV in China
Since the OP isn't comparing EVs to EVs, let's ignore that. Otherwise we could just as easily ask for another crossover that gets 90mpg or equivalent and significantly narrow the field.
Instead, since I'm having a slow day and I'm curious let's build a Mercedes GLS 450 shall we? I'll go off of Mercedes site.

The base prices are different, but the option packages are about the same. We can call the battery $15,000 in cost and call it a wash between the two cars. But as far as options being expensive goes (We haven't even taken into account everything else the Tesla has included in the PUP or autopilot or thrown in as extras such as supercharging and constant updates.) It seems two comparably equipped cars are about the same. They just approach it differently.
