It's been almost a year, time for another update:
Detroit Electric says ‘it’s not following Tesla’, announces all-electric sedan and SUV after its Lotus Elise-based car

Hmm, let's see... Build a halo car based on the Lotus Elise. Use the money from that to build a sedan designed from the ground up. Follow with an SUV based on the sedan. Nah, "not following Tesla" at all... no way José, not even close.

It's a public relations thing to do *sugar* like that.... hilarious at best.
