If conservatives were more attuned to better environmental outcomes, the Democrats wouldn't be as soft on the issue as well:

The Podesta emails

While some of the Democrat candidate substance is sensible, the general statements have an uncaring softness about environmental issues, and Podesta in particular doesn't seem to care at all.

We will all have a lot of work to do to continue to make the worlds* better places, regardless of who wins the United States President election in a few days (or after if the delegates aren't obviously decided). Everyone, take your time and do good work regardless of who becomes President, Congress person, Governor, legislator, etc.. Issues always progress better with better ground work.
