My wife was frustrated with this last night, so I am checking the collective wisdom of this forum. The setup: She is on a call with her earbuds physically plugged in and is walking out to get in the car. Bluetooth is turned on.
With her car, a 2022 Model Y, when she gets into the car, the screen prompts a Yes/No confirmation if she wants to switch the call to the Bluetooth in the car, and she can decline it. Great feature, which I think they added to the software about a year ago.
With my car, a 2014 Model S, when she gets into the car, it doesn't ask Yes/No, but just transfers the call and starts blaring it out of the car's speakers, which we hate and have to go turn Bluetooth off on her phone to stop it.
Anyone know any additional information about this? Are they ever going to roll out that feature to older cars?
