That's good, as the white is beautiful, imho. Just have to decide if it's OK for a family car.
I just got off the phone with Tesla (my last day to make changes it tomorrow). I was told this console is NOT coming with the 6 seater configuration and they could NOT even confirm it was an option now/future. ODD.

I also called them yesterday too
had same discussion was told the same.
I said that the cars I had seen had a center console. Was told "oh that's Elon's car he just added things for himself.
Which was not true as I saw at least one other that did
i also could not get an answer as to where the 2nd row had a a center arm that pulled out.

Elon's car was on the stage being mauled when I took the above picture outside of the X that I got the demo ride in.

Similar message received here. That rear center console was apparently a test and there is no decision on whether it will ever reach the point of being an option. Def not to be counted on.

OK, folks, I finally got time to upload and start sifting through the 77 video captures I did.

The TSLA people 1/2 the time don't know what they're talking about. I spent a lot of time in Elon's Founder 1. His is 7 seats, not 6. Recall that he has 5 sons - why would he get 6 seats not 7? LOL
They delivered a second row center console to another founder.
If you search "wesellfremont", you'll find all the videos I'm in the process of uploading to Youtube.
IMHO, if they don't deliver the 6-seat configuration with this center console, it will be a major fail on the part of TSLA, unless they make it available as an accessory later on. I would try to get everything these people say in writing. (email)

It should still be optional. Some people are ordering the 6-seat configuration to give them more cargo space down the middle. The console would just defeat the reason they ordered the 6-seats.

Agreed! The 6-seat configuration also makes it easier for DOG to have room to stand.

It's removable. Tesla has removed them all, apparently. This is crazy. I really liked the 6-seater with the console. Why Tesla would show all of us and the press this config and then not deliver it beyond me.

Franz mentioned to me that the console is being considered. It looks similar to the console included with the Model S Executive Rear Seats as shown. IMHO, Tesla may offer the console for the Six Seat Interior depending on demand. I would only consider a removable version as has been reported by several individuals on the forum. Since Model X was not shown at the launch with a flat floor Six Seat Interior, I look forward to testing the utility and added spaciousness without the console.
While safety is an issue, an Igloo "Legend Red 24 Can" cooler is 15" high and only needs a 1" cushion if the height is similar to the armrest in Model S. My 5 passengers might appreciate the cold beverages and use a cushioned top as an armrest. The cooler does need a cover to match the interior of Model X. LEGEND RED 24 CAN | The Igloo Online Store

I've got the rear console accessory in my S. Best of both worlds: when configured for 2, they get arm rests and cup holders. When I need the third seat, the console goes in the frunk.
It would be nice if the X offered the same flexibility, except when removed it's empty all the way to the floor.
