Conduit Rules

So I have a 100 Amp sub panel in my garage. I plan to install a 60 amp circuit and hardwire a EVSE chargepoint charger in the diagonal opposite corner of the garage near the door. The run is about 45 feet and travels along the ceiling joists/rafters. It requires a number of turns around corners and conduits.

I live in the Northern California Bay Area.

My question is what are the rules around the conduits? Can the entire length be flexible non-metallic liquid tight style conduit?
Does it have to have long runs of EMT with shorts runs of flexible ENMT / EMT?

IE What flexibility do I have in choosing materials?

You can choose all non metallic liquid tight, all PVC, all MC cable, all EMT, or a combination thereof. Just follow rules if you’re mixing and matching which usually means a junction box if you mix and match. Personally, I like MC cable for such types of projects since it is flexible and the 6 gauge wire is already contained in the MC cable when you buy it, so no wire pulling needed.
