Car broken into, mobile charger and the cable that connects me to other non-tesla chargers stolen. What are my options?

It was my fault really. I didn't close the door firmly and had push notifications turned off. Don't know why.

Anyway, when I came back those are the two most expensive things that were taken.

Should i bite the bullet and fork out £250 for another mobile charger? I've begun charging at home (no driveway though so I use a cable cover across the pavement).

Have there been third party ones released?

If you want to charge at home, I think your only options are to buy a new (or used) mobile connector or get the stolen one back. Did you have Sentry Mode enabled? If so, you might have video of the break in.

The Tesla mobile connector is one of the best and also most affordable. I recommend buying another one.

Most seem to gravitate to the Tesla options even with the multitude of alternatives, most alternatives seem less compelling other than for niche applications, many times only for a program incentive or perks from their utility through a specific platform.

Almost certainly if you don't know why you want an alternative, think your best bet will be with a replacement mobile connector.

I've probably said it a hundred times. It is pretty hard to go wrong with OEM parts and equipment.
