driver door cannot close once door is open. The car thinks the door is close when the door is actually open, which causes the window to be rolled all the way up. Tried doing a reset, but no luck. Has anyone encountered this problem?
Tonight, my passenger front seat window would not go down when the car door opened. And, it would hit the chrome frame when closing. I read on this site that the problem was the Puddle Light in that door being OFF. Well, sure enough, I checked that door and the Puddle Light would not light up...

Check the latch in the door. Window tinters actuate the latch by hand as if the door is closed. This will roll the window all the way up for tinting. Look at your other door when open and set the driver side door to look the same.
Very grateful for this forum! Tesla was about to charge me $186 for parts and labor. Instead, purchased the puddle light over the counter and replaced it myself. Very easy to do, plug and play. $8 total
