Awesome - too bad its the wrong colour for mine. Looking forward to hearing about them on trucks. Better get the garage ready...

Completely forgot about floor mats! Just ordered them - thanks colinb!

Talked to Hans at the Yorkdale store (absolutely packed on a Sunday) and I think he implied that we could get the car with the 19" snows on and the 21s in the trunk.

S29 - less than a month?!?

I was told they will store the 21s for us

Eureka! I have our Canadian Signature VIN! Here is the email response I received this afternoon from Ownership Experience:

Hello Vincent,
Thank you for contacting me again.
I looked in your account, and it seems like you do have a VIN.
Congratulations!

5YJSA1DP1CFS02001

Once we are ready for delivery, a delivery specialist should be reaching out to you for detailed dates, locations, and finalizing paperwork.

Your long wait is ALMOST over. Thank you very much.

So as I suspected, they seem to be starting the Canadian VINs on an even boundary (2000). I have not yet checked the "decoding" thread to see how this compares with the US cars.

For reference, our car is Signature Performance, Sig. Red, Performance Ten, Obeche matte, pano roof, silver 21" wheels, no spoiler, no child seats.

"Oh great, this guy again. There's gotta be something in here somewhere that I can give him...".

Actually, she was extremely helpful, and responded within 18 hours. I had contacted her before on a separate issue-- we decided, reluctantly but firmly, to cancel our Model X reservation, apply the reservation fee to the Model S balance, and wait for something in the Gen III series for our third household Tesla. Careful observation of the change in my forum profile would have revealed that.

BTW, cool thing about our VIN 5YJSA1DP1CFS02001: Now I can always think of Arthur C. Clarke and Stanley Kubrick, as well as Elon Musk, when I board our beauty!

Oh no...the Canadian Signatures start at 2000?

That must mean that there are actually 1,999 U. S. Sigs!!!

I guess that means each U.S. Sig is actually worth less!

Didn't they say there were only be 1,000 of them?

Martha, get Musk on the phone now...I'm cancelling our order due to this blatant misrepresentation!

What's the matter with these guys...can't they do anything right???

The sky is falling...the sky is falling...!

:scared:

I just called and was told no VIN for my car yet. Still the same old 'we expect to deliver your car in the next 3-4 weeks.'
I thought they would be producing our cars all together. Are the Canadian SS cars included in the approx. 170 total Sigs? I also had a contact tell me the CF shortage is nowhere as big as it is being made up to be.

Here's the Canadian stats from the Model S Reservation Tally thread.
Canada
SSL 23 (July 18, 2012)
S 177 (September 23, 2012)
P 493 (November 21, 2012)

Definitely taking care to the Roadster owners (SSLxx) first as they should; although US P's are being delivered
I got a similar but somewhat confusing response. " hopefully deliver this year .... but .... finalize delivery info in 2-4 weeks"
I didn't think the other CND Sigs would be that far behind but who knows. At this point I'm just hoping it's delivered in January at least.
Might be talking to the wrong department.
