CA Clean Air Decal Delivery Delay

Applied for a Clean Air Vehicle Decal for Model Y in early March. Check was encashed in end March by DMV, but I did not receive the decal yet.

Chatted with a DMV agent online who advised to fill in the form 1000 again mentioning that I never received the decal, and start the process all over again.

Called up DMV and the agent advised to wait till mid May as it takes 4-6 weeks after check cashing to receive the decal.

Does anyone have a similar experience ?

I mailed the form a month ago. Check still has not been cashed.

Same thing happened to my fiancé. Submitted in feb. nothing until last week the check cleared and it came to my house the same week. It seems like they are backed up with all of these ev incentives.
