After one of the browser improvements I noticed that there was a shortcut to one of my bookmarks/favorites on the Tesla Browser home page. I could not figure out how it got there. It worked ok and would bring up the favorite site. The only other thing I could do with the shortcut was to do a long press to delete it.
Today I was using the browser and I typed a website into the address bar. I went back to the homepage and the site that I visited added a shortcut on the home page. It turns out that any site you directly type into the address bar will create a shortcut that is added on to the homepage. I now have a bunch of my bookmarks on the homepage; which makes accessing them a little easier.
