Yes they phoned me yesterday to tell me this. The latest update seemed to cause it for me and a few other people on here. Was fine beforeHad booked my car for service as boot keeps not opening correctly. Just had a call from service centre saying u need to wait for. 16 firmware as this will be fixed there, apparently they are going to increase something to ensure it doesn't stop closing as they've been told they're replacing too many struts. Anyone else had this??
Same as any other manufacture, minor technical bulletins are applied when they next see the vehicle - it isn’t a major recall.I booked my car in to have tyres rotated. It’s been booked for a few weeks now and I’m going on on Saturday, so out of interest I looked at the cost estimate breakdown. This o-ring replacement has appeared. My question is why on earth have Tesla waited until I booked my car in? 1: why didn’t they tell me about this before directly, and 2: why are they covertly adding stuff to my service requests that I didn’t ask for?!
What software is your car on? The latest update has made this happen. 2022.8.2I had the strut replaced in mid-Feb. It's started to double-beep and open less than half-way.
Some repair that!
In 15 months of ownership I have had a total of 10 service repairs. That's shockingly bad.
Guessing yours was a December 20 car like mine. I've suffered similar issues - all sorted, but annoying.I had the strut replaced in mid-Feb. It's started to double-beep and open less than half-way.
