Best tires for long range?

Looking at purchasing new tires for the long range on the stock wheels is Pilot sport 4s still the best tire or something better out there? Thanks

Haven't seen much hard data on rolling resistance. This site is the main source I've seen: Low-Rolling-Resistance Tires Can Save You Money at the Pump - Consumer Reports

I got the Cinturato tires listed there on aero wheels and get excellent range on my M3P. 220wh/mi on a 2.5 hour road trip last weekend. Was at 213 before a couple ascents at the end.

These Evo’s have a sound absorber and I’ve heard that if you get a flat, it is not fixable due to the sound absorber pad on the inside wall of the tire. At least that’s what Town Fair said… I could be mistaken.

Yes, it certainly could be the case. Just depends on where the flat is and who is repairing it.

Cut a piece of the foam out, plug the tire, patch the tire & done.

Just spoke with the tire manager at Town Fair... they said that punctures in foamed tires can be fixed, but only once or _maybe_ twice.
