Being regularly logged out of app

Is this a normal thing with the app? Every couple of weeks, I have to re-enter my password in order to use the app. Just happened again this morning. Fairly frustrating but wondering if it's a security thing or if it's just a problem I'm having. I have never chosen to sign out of the app.

pretty sure this is your oauth token expiring, and Tesla wanting people to reauthenticate to get a new token. The token is what's passed in API calls rather than your actual password. Having a token expire every once in a while is a good security practice, just in case somehow your token is leaked out.
