Yeah I got both text and email. However, I didn’t get anything when my payment processed.

Email came through at 1701, didnt notice it until an hour later
Also didnt get anything after my payment went through.

My mate ordered his car in early Nov. I ordered mine Sept 1st. Both same colour , wheels and LR. His car was delivered Jan 30th. My delivery is in March

Saw some posts on Facebook. Took delivery of same model, colour, interior, wheel and delivery centre, while I am still waiting for the delivery day.
I ordered on 1/Sep, he ordered in November.
I reckon Tesla's system is not FIFO.

Call them and ask.
Just because it says it is inventory it doesnt mean its sitting at a dc ready for a delivery, it could be anywhere.
Ask any of the folks who survived the GC Stinkship.

Inventory cars can be delivered in just one or two days! Instead of being transported to your local DC, you can go pickup from the DC where the car is located.

Inventory doesnt mean it is at any dc ready for pickup.

Im pretty sure its see thru. Definately been coated. It is smooth like velvet now. Try rubbing any body part on it

It is see through. Most will deepen the colour a touch.

I just did a drive through behind the Holden factory and can confirm there are exactly 14 model 3’s sitting there. Unfortunately I go on annual leave after Sunday for a few weeks so I can’t do my routine checks lol

So random how it works, I ordered Dec 22nd, got my car last week.

Cobalt hydride (COH), could be worse. I kinda like it.
