Anyone got their delivery time frame missed?

I got the same email a week ago. It had a list of 3 or 4 things I needed to do. I did them all right away with the exception of the delivery questionnaire which is NOT on my dashboard. ."

What email?!? What 3 or 4 things ?!?
I am 14,417 and I have not seen anything from Tesla since I finalized a few weeks ago. My delivery window is 2/26-3/12. Am I missing something ???

I'm guessing no since I don't have a delivery window. PM me your email if you want and I'll forward the email I'm talking about. It all seems somewhat confusing and disorganized but I'm calm. I think this will be ironed out for future owners. Just not us.

Looks like I will miss my window which was from 1/22 to 2/5. I haven't gotten a call from the delivery specialist yet, I was told by the product specialist that my delivery specialist had been out ill last week and today. The product specialist said my car is finished, so I am waiting for a call.

Well, I finally got an e-mail saying my car is in the final stages of production. If that's the case, it seems unlikely they'll make the delivery window, which ends in a week. At least there was a name on the e-mail (it said product specialist...I assume that's different from a delivery specialist).

I wish you the best....My window closes in just over a week and I don't even have VIN. I emailed multiple times and left messages w my PS, but no reply. at this rate, I'll miss my delivery windows and I'm a factory pick up....I can't believe they haven't started on my car yet. It's frustrating...

With a factory pickup it's quite usual to only have small period of time between the VIN and the car being ready (I've seen one day lots of times). The VIN may be assigned early in production, but often it doesn't get communicated until later. I don't have a VIN yet either, but as of yesterday Tesla was quite confident I'd hit my window.

Here's an example of where they're at now: on TM forum dgwilkinson just picked up car

res #11391
window 1/23-2/6
received VIN 1/28
received car 2/4

I fully expect to receive my VIN before the end of the week and get the car next week sometime. If that doesn't happen, then something's wrong, but until then I'm assuming everything's going to schedule.

I appreciate your optimism....I spoke with a PS today (Julia?) and she said they will be batching 85s this week. they just completed 60s last week. I have the same window as you and about 300 behind in seq number. We'll probably get ours around the same time since I'm also 85, non-perf. I hope you're right. just looking forward to my MS.

Same boat as you guys. I'm Res #12,447, Delivery Window 2/2 - 2/16 for factory pickup and just spoke to Julia today over the phone. Still no VIN, but she was confident it is coming any day now and the car will be ready towards the end of the window.

I have an earlier window than you, a much earlier sequence number (not far behind the fellow who just got his car), and I'm also 85, non-perf. I have not managed to get a VIN yet, and I *need* one in order to get insurance, so this is annoying me. I'm calling my "inside delivery specialist" for the third time on Thursday when my window opens, and if I don't have a VIN then I'm going to escalate because delays in insurance are going to induce a cascade of delays. Apparently the "inside delivery specialists" have very limited access to information from the factory, so it's probably necessary to escalate to higher management in order to get information.

Just got a call from the inside delivery team saying they got a question from the factory to see if i was available for delivery after 2/16. My delivery window is 2/2 - 2/16 so I take it that means my car will not be ready within the delivery window estimated.

I'm not sure how widespread this issue is, for deliveries via service center -- in the Seattle case, they have something like space for 14 cars to be delivered at a time, so they can only accept shipments from the factory of up to 14 cars. If more customers than that have built cars, they get stuck in a waiting queue, or if people are slow to pick up, everyone else gets to wait behind them. That's my situation, car finished on 1/18, waiting behind other deliveries before it can even be shipped up here... still awaiting an ETA of when i'll get in the queue.

I would kind of expect Tesla to just to direct ship if they can't make their service center delivery model work. It might cost them more, but wouldn't that still fit in their delivery fee?

Just talked to Andy, my delivery specialist. He will be at my home on Sunday morning with my car. So it will be 5 days late.

I would be upset too since a seq # 11,395 is about to get delivery to Chicago, which would mean that his/her car was completed a week ago, if not earlier.

Missed my delivery window by a week. No big deal, though.

I just got update yesterday after calling my DS.

She checked my car and said that there has been no progress at all since I called her last week. I got my vin on Jan 13 and completed the final paper work last week. Delivery windows was missed last week (I am the person who started this thread). Now my DS could not tell me what the problem is except saying she will try to ask the manufactoring team. She does not know when it will be ready. I am wondering if my 60KWH was pulled off the assembly line due to problems. Anyone in the same boat?

My Chicago delivery specialist was on time to the minute last Friday. Thanks Julie!
That same Julie is staying late tomorrow to accommodate my delivery, so she's certainly going above and beyond.

After not hearing anything for the first week of my delivery window, I got the request for insurance and driver's license info two days ago, the final MVPA to sign yesterday, and the call from the DS today saying my car was ready for delivery. Pretty impressive on Tesla's part.
