Abandoned Roadster in SF

Someone in the Facebook Roadster group posted a link to a Reddit discussion about a Roadster that's abandoned on the street in San Francisco.

Not sure the VIN, but maybe someone here knows what's up with it and could even arrange a rescue.

For those who don't want to dig through every comment in the Reddit thread:

• Mission & College Terrace, which is a private road - so the city won't tow it
• Car's been there since 2018-2019 and appears to have been moved one time, in 2019.
• Nobody's got the VIN yet

I'll bet it's owned by someone who has either died or is in care and cannot manage their own affairs. Will be interesting to see which Roadster collector gets that one!

That is VIN 180. It’s the only Twilight Blue with factory Premium Cream & Beige Rally interior so it wasn’t terribly difficult to narrow down. The last known owner has posted in the past on here, so I messaged him to see if he still owns the car & can provide any context.

@DeedWest good job hunting down the VIN! I was curious so I had to stop by and take a look at it after work. The front splitter is in rough shape, but overall the car seems intact. No signs of life from the car and no exterior charger in sight, so battery is probably in poor shape. Brakes very rusty. It reminds me of those vine covered roman statutes. Almost art!
