We have inductions on our Model Y. No issues whatsoever with the this tire/rim combo. Are there any confirmations of this tire size (255/45/20) DWS 06 rubbing with inductions on the MYP when weighed down with passengers?

No rub at all at full lock with 275/45?dont worry you aint gonna rub
im currently running 275 45 20 conti dws 06 plus square set up, been driving for over a month, zero issues on 2022 MYLR
Any noticeable hit on range? Would you mind posting some pics? I'd love to see how a 275 looks on the wheel and fills the gap.. I personally feel the 255 looks way too stretchedNo rub at all at full lock with 275/45?
hi Mark,I just put a set of Michelin CrossClimate2 255/45/R20s on my Model Y. So far, I LOVE THEM! The ride is noticeably better. Yes, the speedo is off by a little. I would love to get that recalibrated. Has anyone successfully gotten their speedo recalibrated?
Thanks,
~ Mark
This exact setting I'm think of too....dont worry you aint gonna rub

sorry. i mean ... " how is your ride with it? ".....This exact setting I'm think of too....
I love my induction wheel but hate the noise from tire.
I did some research and looks like dws has soft wall and low noise..
Who is you ride with it?
No problems at all!hi Mark,
i'm interesting to get 255/45/20, how is running for you? any problems?
Do a search for both online, you will see that people who have had both will say they are very close with negligible difference. As high perf all season, they are decent but compromise across the factors you care about, and Wh/mile is going to be much worse than stock tires for the road grip provided.I live in the SF Bay Area, so 99% of the driving is on dry or wet roads (very little snow/ice driving for me). Of the following tires, which are best for ride comfort, road grip (yet keeping Wh/mile low), and longevity? Both tires sizes are the same (255/45/R20).
1) Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus ($233 per tire).
2) Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ($273 per tire).
Thanks in advance!
Nobody is going to be able to give you the measurable difference in range. It’s already too difficult with multiple variables on different trips, plus changing these (255 and 275 width) change the overall diameter so the trip computer and efficiency readout on the car will be wrong. If you just care about looks, you need to suck it up and accept whatever the range impact is.Any noticeable hit on range? Would you mind posting some pics? Just noticed I used "was" instead of "am" Fixed itCurious what you decide!
Plug in the numbers and compare:Hi, Would 255/50 R20 work for my model Y?
I think the 30" diameter tire (255/50-20) versus the OE 28" tire might not clear the front suspension. Perhaps someone who has installed the 255/50-20 size tires on their LRMY can provide information re the fit.Is the only issue the speedometer?
Don’t do it. I tried. You lose road feel. 255/45/20 are best for performing and ride cushion.Hi, Would 255/50 R20 work for my model Y?
