Hi, so I have a 2013 Model S 85 (metallic blue), during the storms in LA, it stopped shifting into gear and gave few alerts to take to service. At the end Tesla said HV battery and LV battery needs to be replaced. Their claim is the HV battery’s seals separating the coolant wire out and caused an internal failure of the battery. So I’m deciding whether to replace with their suggested manufactured battery or sell the car as is. Any suggestions where I can post or sell a Tesla that has a dead battery? Thank you

You can post for sale as any used car. Just be up front about the HV battery and any other issues. Hard part is pricing accordingly and getting anyone to purchase knowing that an additional $10-20K will need to be invested. You won't be happy when folks offer you less than $15k.
First thing I would do is confirm that the battery is issue with a good 3rd party Tesla specialist (though it probably is if they can physically see the seals separating). It's possible that you might have a grounding or battery component issue instead of the whole pack. But if they pack has failed and must be replaced then Tesla Service Center is probably your best option. There are 3rd party battery solutions but they often require a problem-free battery as a core swap in order to be financially favorable option.
