My EDD was all over the place but once I got a 2 week window things moved hot and fast. The time from VIN to scheduling delivery was within a few days as well.

Look at line 15, page 2 of your 1040. If you owed more than $1850 in tax you'll see a benefit (assuming you are earning the around the same income in 2019). Taxes aren't rocket science.

It's not worth it for me. There are too many expenses in my life to justify dropping 6k on a promise. Personally I'm not sure if Tesla has any real interest on retrofitting any cars due to cash flow needs.

Based on my experience I would avoid ordering from Joe. There are a lot of vendors out there that will ship your product at a reasonable pace and he hasn't proven to be one of them. I'll also be opening up a dispute with Paypal if I don't receive some sort of response to my emails by Monday.

Not really. No one charges to 100% (unless going on a trip) to protect the longevity of the battery. With an SR you can charge to 100% with little worry since it's software locked. And when the battery naturally degrades you won't see any range loss till the total degradation exceeds 10%.

SR originally was supposed to come with basic audio, manual seats, 5.6 sec 0-60 and 20 miles of less range. You can instead get the same interior and the same range with 2k back in your pocket. The math for purchasing a SR isn't the same anymore.

What Model 3 do you have? I'm thinking it's just an accidental omission. The original firmware the SR+ came with satellite maps so I wouldn't be surprised if their QA process isn't the best.

Looks like I'm going to downgrade my SR+ and get that sweet cash back. I only charge to 90% so I won't even notice the decrease if I charge to 98%. The only way I stay with the SR+ is if they make the 0-60 for the SR 5.6 secs.

Oh I totally understand if they weren't supposed to be included. But I think it's understandable that if a speaker is installed and wired an owner would expect it to output audio. If they are limiting it to premium connectivity feature I would gladly pay to enable them.

Tesla got back to me and pushed a software update to my car. I'll report back and confirm if it changed anything. I'm at work so it'll be a few hours, but fingers crossed.

Got the update as well. Based on the feel test I didnt notice any vibrations coming from the A pillar or speakers shoved in the corners of the door by the window. Guess I'll need to be the neighborhood psychopath tomorrow and grab a paper towel roll to isolate each speaker.

That's what kills me. If they have the speakers installed in my build they should be outputting sound. I don't think that's too crazy of an opinion.
