Brain cramp, I meant Decatur (corrected above)

FWIW, I can make it from Charlotte to the Decatur supercharger in an 85 without stopping as long as I'm careful (not too speedy). Having a SC in Greenville would make it a carefree trip without having to worry about temperature and speed, can't come too soon!

I've had a Model S in Charlotte for 2 years, and unless you know you'll need the quick charging from an HPWC at home I would advise against the extra expense of the dual chargers and the HPWC setup. The NEMA 14-50 in my garage charges at 29 miles per hour and I've never needed faster charging...

Looks great, but you need to get yourself some AlloyGators. $150/set, install them yourself, easily the best money I've spent on my car.

I have Mobileye installed in my Model S as an aftermarket accessory in the U.S. and it works flawlessly - highly recommended.

I'll second the recommendation for the Steelie. Very high quality, don't even notice the base on the dash (see pictures), holds the phone securely, and the disc on the back of the phone/case is not a problem.

Here are some pictures of the Yakima setup. It only takes 5 - 10 minutes to install or remove the whole thing, so I only have it on while transporting my bike rather than keeping it on permanently.

I have the Yakima roof rack system - works perfectly and easy on/off. Go on their website and use the fit guide, the Model S is in their system (Landing Pad 11).

I applied Aquapel to all glass surfaces on my Model S a couple of months ago, and my wipers have been "catching" on the windshield ever since. Incredibly annoying. Are there any new wipers that are recommended to work with Aquapel to avoid this problem? I'll try anything!

I live several hours from the nearest service center. If I'm not on the unlimited Ranger visit plan, do the annual maintenance Ranger visits cost $100 each? If so, then over four years I only need one additional Ranger visit to break even on the $500 increase for unlimited vs. $100/ea Ranger...

I just had the Mobileye 560 installed in my Model S yesterday, the company has now worked out the integration issues with the Tesla CANBUS and all functions work perfectly. Highly recommended!

Sealant can fix a puncture but ruins the tire, and it's useless for sidewall tears or blowouts.

That would be the first I've heard of run-flats. If we're depending on the Tesla Rangers for roadside assistance, then those of us far away from a store or service center would be out of luck. My understanding is that the fallback is the sealant/repair kit, which is not terribly comforting.

Thought I would bump this thread to see if any progress has been made at locating a doughnut-sized spare for the frunk?

So now that the new Design Studio is up, we know that 1) all 2012 deliveries will have Active Air Suspension, and 2) Sunset Red will be an option for General Production cars in 2013. Does anyone have insights into when in 2013 these options will be available? I'm not interested in active air...
