Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
I wish I could say I had a great time here. I wish I could say that I was able to participate here. I wish I wasn’t afraid of this community like I’ve become recently. This forum isn’t a place for me anymore. So why make a post about it? It seems silly, but I want to encourage this...
Reviving this thread because I need to hear more good in this forum. I’m super happy with Sparrow! She keeps me warm in the winter, safe on the roads and entertained when not driving. No other vehicle I have driven has come close to Sparrow. Maintenance is practically non existent which I...
Thank you for your story! I totally agree about the feeling that the mind is directly connected to the wheels. I can't recall what it's like to not have that connection!
I love your car and really love that pictures in front of that castle/cathedral! Totally need to get myself some pictures...
Thank you for this! I've been avoiding this site due to the negativity. I myself love my Sparrow and just celebrated having her for 1 year! Your Model S is so pretty! BestBuy is pretty dangerous place to be :p
I had this same issue when I got my wall charger. The issue was the small rotating dial was never moved from the default setting which is what you are on now. The manual that came with your charger will tell you what to turn the dial to to match your breaker switch’s amperage. Make sure that the...
You should definitely have summon! Summon should have its own section below location and above schedule service in the smartphone app. The only thing I can think of is that your new car isn’t fully setup on your Tesla account. I would login to your online account under manage your vehicle and...
My 90% for my July 2017 75D is 224 miles of range. Doing some quick math based on my 75D, you are looking good! I would recommend that you make a monthly saving plan to give you the ability to unlock the battery. For now, you'll be fine and you will learn how to plan for trips just like all...
You don't have to purchase extended warranty immediately. You'll have the option to purchase at any time up till warranty expiration. I would hold off till you are close to warranty ending to determine if the extra warranty would be worth it to you.
I would start at Tesla's own site and search their used inventory for price comparisons. | Tesla. I think he might be asking for too much now after glancing at the results from Tesla own inventory.
Maybe grab the VIN and call/email Tesla support and see if they can confirm the FSD and the battery upgrade price info for you if the individual you are purchasing this car from cannot show you their proof for some reason. They may not talk to you since you aren't the owner anyway so hopefully...
Take pictures and show us the interior and exterior so we can at least help with the physical bits. I'm no expert on what to look for but I do own one so I can tell you what I would look for.
1. What model is it? 75D, 100D, or P100D?
2. The estimated range at 90% charge.
3. Does it have...
Thank you for sharing your story of Astro! I loved it. I really love the fact you are charging off of solar! I really hope to one day achieve that as well!
I’m still here reading the forums but my main focus has been this thread. I really enjoy reading these stories.
Continue having fun...
Thankfully Sparrow always reminds me each and every day how awesome Teslas are! I still come here everyday to read the forums because I do see those nuggets of useful content still. I’m hoping to see more of those vs the rest. Hey maybe I’ll start posting more as I customize Sparrow.
That's awesome! I've been really wanting visit this country I live in by taking a really long road trip west to east now that I have a vehicle that can do that enjoyably. Thank you for your story. Gives me encouragement to try and actually make this happen :)
Thank you Berkeley. I'm definitely cheered up by all the comments I've received on this thread. Thank you for sharing some of your observations. I'll keep this in my mind while I read these forums. :)
I used to love coming to this Forum to read up on all the neat things people were doing and talking about in regards to their Tesla or future Tesla. Lately I've been considering why I'm even reading this forum anymore. I know this forum can't be filled with only complaints. I'm one of them...
I live in Grand Junction, Colorado and am looking to purchase a Signature Black Wall Connector. Preferably unused :). Let me know how much you want for it and we can work it out from there!
