We bought a Model 3 and love it. To avoid fighting over who gets to drive it we want to sell our 2016 Pilot and get another EV. The Model S has more cargo space but I'm a bit confused now on how the free supercharging works. I gathered all used Model S cars sold by Tesla no longer offer that but...

The reason is that when they opened up the model 3 to sell in Europe it was likely that Black would be very popular especially for the cars that would be used as taxis and if that volume ended up being significant that would give a bump to the profit margin.

Congrats! And I agree with you. I came from an Audi S5 which was 0-60 in 4.4sec and for some reason the Tesla seems faster at least from 0-40 I'd say. Makes me wonder how the 0-40 time compares to other cars. It's a good indication of real world needed acceleration

There are times I walk up to remove the charging cable from the car and when I press the button nothing happens. It seems like car is totally asleep and won't awake unless I open a door to wake it up then I can disengage the charger form the port. Is this normal?

If cost of depreciation (which can be significant) is your main concern have you considered buying a 2-3 yr old accord or camry?

You are experiencing the same thing as me. The model 3 does not have a “composed ride” at high speeds especially. My previous. Cars give you a lot of confidence on a quick lane change maneuver or when trying to avoid hitting an object on the road . Maybe to get that it takes years of car...

We each set up our driver profiles and I assume that if I got into the car to drive it after her at that the seat, mirror, and all other settings word revert back to my profile. Is this may be something that the standard plus model doesn’t do?

I'm a big wheel guy and surprisingly I like the look of the Aeros better than the upgraded OEMs. Weird since I don't usually like all black wheels. I am hoping ours doesn't show up sitting up at a high level like a few I see on the dtreets. Otherwise will have to consider springs in the future.
