This issue seemed to surface earlier this year with TMC members (including myself). It seemed to only affect P100d models while in Ludicrous plus. Power gets pulled around 75 -85 mph ...even with (1) run in Ludicrous plus! The issue coincided with the software update for the “Raven” models...

Its definitely an issue! And will be more common when people get out and run their cars. It started around the time the “raven” software update was released.....to increase their KW and launch (cheetah) to compete with the Porsche taycan.... somehow it affected Performance preraven cars. i...

Well...I just downloaded software 2020.12.11.1, which did not fix the quick power drop issue. My peak KW is normal but around 55-58mph peak KW drops rather drastically....much more than in the past. I recorded it and sent it to my Tesla service center, who are waiting on a review from Tesla...

I have a pre-raven Model S P100d and have noticed some odd issues with early power drop off on launch mode acceleration runs. (Usually after 60mph it falls sharply). Coincidentally....this started after I got my half shafts replaced....and the new "cheetah mode" software was downloaded...

I have experienced the same thing. One day it comes up and the other it does not. I too get the “cooling” but the screen doesnt display. Hmmmm

UkrHog is on to something here! I own a P100d (pre-raven)......My peak is now 551 Kw in launch mode (Ludicrous ++). On the previous software I got 575.4 kw in launch mode. Telsa's software update must have accidentally (?) eliminated the additional power launch mode is supposed to provide...

Found same issues when i stopped in. Moved around and found a quick one. The most north/western charger!

My model S behaves as described but I only have AP. I wonder if they forgot to install your FSD. Call Tesla to confirm.

My max KW on software update 2020.8.3 was 575.4kw (ludicrous+ enabled with launch mode). It was 551kw without launch mode. And no issues with heat soak after several back-to-back runs. Time will tell I guess

Mine is pre-raven...2019.....

Ive also noticed Battery heat soak kicking in earlier and reducing power quicker than 2020.8.3. The ludi+ screen that is supposed to appear to show peak KWs did not come up a few times either. Ill have give in another shot sometime this week. I did a “bug report” in case this is an issue...

On March 30..... I updated to -2020.8.3 On April 9 (yesterday) I updated to 2020.12.5...that was quick!!!! Today, I was looking in the “software” folder and realized I had a Navigation update waiting. (Note:Everyone needs to manually go into the “software” folder and check if they are up to...

Even a few tenths in 1/4 mile would be nice. Judging by Elon's statement...Tesla has already tested the HP increase to be a measurable difference (maybe on the plaid models?)

Not a P85D but I had an early model P90d insane mode (P85D with range upgrade) run 11.5 flat several times. Normally in 11.6 range.
