My thoughts as well. Love Tesla, but my expectations have already been baked in regarding the tax credits. If they go away by the time I'm due to order, I'll have to step back and re-evaluate other EV's that are available, or soon to be available.

I'm leaning toward White on White. It looks very futuristic IMHO. Gray on Black looks too BMW. I want a combination that is as unique as the car itself. Of course all decisions contingent on seeing the M3 colors in person first.

I also thought it was a dumb article. In 50 years of driving, I've been stranded once due to an electrical problem (not counting waking up to dead batteries in winter). I've been stranded multiple times due to failed components only found on an ICE car.

@pace - I like the idea of using the car as a revenue generator rather than selling it. It would be interesting to work out the "business plan" based on predicted usage, tax, insurance, and liability implications.

I'm not 100% sure those are aero wheels minus the covers. The spokes don't have the same contours as the spokes partially shown on covered aero wheel close-ups I've seen. I hope I'm wrong.
