We also had this issue, vin 995xx, and they replaced the steering control module earlier this week. We mentioned that others also are having the same problem, but the service rep hadn't heard of this issue yet.

Yes, definitely check out the destination chargers. There's a nice lodge right at the gates to Zion National Park that has 2 Tesla chargers. (Cliffrose Lodge) if you want to stay overnight. Worked out great for us, we were able to leave the car at the lodge and walk right into Zion. From...

We just received an email from Tesla stating that we were not selected in the gigafactory lottery! We confirmed and received confirmation email on 7/20, so this email doesn't make sense. Did anyone else have this happen?

Personal choice. We liked the peace of mind of having it checked every year and any service updates applied. In fact, they checked for service updates any time we were there. Would most likely buy it again. I don't think service plans are available yet for model X.

All I can say is that in the 3 years/ 30k miles that we owned a Model S, the only cost we had was for a set of winter tires since we had performance version that comes with summer tires. We also had prepaid for annual maintenance of $475/yr, which ended up not really being needed. Other than...

It is exciting! We were fortunate to have been at the Model 3 event in Hawthorne and the test rides were great! Very impressed with the Model 3, it looks even better in person than in the pictures. The red one was awesome!

Love your creativity, the cat's a nice touch! We also have a very similar story with owning the pre-parking sensor, pre-AWD MC Red Model S in May 2013 which we thoroughly enjoyed, and now loving the Model X!

We made it a couple months ago. Yes, it's probably too late, but doesn't hurt to try! They run tours twice per day, ours is at 3:00pm.

Same here, we love the way it turned out. The glossy XPel retains the original look and should hold up well to plenty abuse. It cost $250 per seat back.

Not sure, but our understanding is that it will still use the sensors to detect obstacles even if you have set it to 'fully open in this location'. I think the partial open update was to be cautious due to the edge cases where the sensors don't pick up some odd pillars, poles, etc. Haven't...

A couple of times our car would not turn on right away, even after sitting in the driver's seat and pressing the brake. Not sure if this can be related to having 2 fobs in the car, or some other reason why it was very slow to turn on?

Should be fine, we had ours raised to 96" and the falcon doors can fully open.
