Discounts on the S are around 5k at best in my area and the Xs are like 1k off, really seems like a big mess to me. Tesla is Tesla’ing and purposefully leaving everyone in the dark.

I would jump as well, I’m on the fence at the moment. It’s just a little over the line IMO. If they could remove some features or offer a standard range maybe they could get it under 80k to qualify for the tax credit. Now that’s hoping and dreaming but that would definitely get those Xs moving.

I noticed the same interesting thing when I demoed an S and X last weekend. Listed the X as $84,999 and all wheel drive as $36,000 on the window sticker they stashed in the car.

I would keep watching, once more HW4 is released they will be forced to discount because that will instantly devalue HW3s BUT that’s if any are left by then.

I think any HW3 might go at a bigger discount but that’s if they don’t sell out in your area first, not every buyer may monitor the situation like we do.

The demos are not really a deal anymore when you consider your buying “legacy” HW3 with HW4 imminent for saving 5k, even if it doesn’t matter to you it will decrease resale.

I’ve been watching the “demos” like a hawk but the deal just got worse with this overall price decrease PLUS keep in mind you are saving 5k but not getting HW4 which a custom order likely will have IMO from what we are seeing with new deliveries starting to get HW4 on Twitter.

I paid 5k total for my FSD and I overpaid and only now am I starting to see something for my money but really if anything just buy EAP, it’s pretty solid and you’ll avoid the glitchy FSD. Who knows, they may offer a discount to “upgrade” to FSD in the future.

Yeah, I agree. I think you can buy comfortably. I have a feeling more cameras will come after Cybertruck and then with your savings you could always consider a trade up hopefully without taking as much of a hit provided S/X new prices stay where they are right now.

Bummed to see these trade in offers are only S/X, even if it was less with a 3/Y still seems like it would be helping accomplish the same goal, selling an S/X. FUSC is not worth that much in saving for Tesla would be my guess, even if I had it I would have only used it a total of three times.

This is the gamble I’m taking, I think they are slowly moving all the inventory sitting on the lots to “demos”. I think we may see up to twice the discount right before or the day of/after investor day. Maybe I’m just hopeful though because for that price I would take the hit on not getting HW4...

I’m seeing more and more of these “demos” being listed. Like you said they are obviously trying to clear inventory as fast as possible disguised as demos.

The comparison may be bogus but you can’t deny that an S or X has been priced out of many Americans grasp. For a short time years ago now you could get an S for 60k, the 3 and Y have now moved into the pricing that used to be the S and X range! Prices need to come down or a more compact car...

I was just quoted the same on my Model 3 Continentals by Tesla roadside! I can’t believe $121! Really disappointed in Tesla.

I had a Tesla SC replace my tires today and they did the sloppiest job I have ever seen. They returned the wheels filthy with grime and grease all over them and with scratches on 3 out of the 4 wheels. I highly recommend somewhere else.

Still have not received the “holiday” update. I have requested the beta, had a 99 but received no beta and now I seem to be in some updateless limbo. I even tried opting out for three days and still nothing. Opted back in. Frustrating.

For the past few mornings I keep getting a 540 Server Error from the car in my app. I like to warm up the car before I leave but I can’t get it to connect. It’s frustrating and a reboot seems to fix it but I don’t understand why it keeps happening? Anyone else? I’m on 2021.40.6

I have a 2018 Mid Range with 26k miles. Only place I tried was Carvana but I was only offered $36k WITH FSD. Really disappointed, even though I love my car I would have liked to go AWD for winter here, maybe even P.
